Take Me Home is a song about Mental Illness, not an immediate subject matter for Phil Collins the man who people lazily dub the ballad writing divorcee. But the subject matter is dealt with gently, Take Me Home would go on to be a live favourite and it has been performed on every tour since its release in 1985.
Take Me Home was released on the 27th July 1985 reaching number 19 in the UK charts and staying in the charts for 9 weeks.
