Tony Banks single – This Is Love was released on either the 9th or 16th of May 1983 (judging on the single advert placed in Sounds which was printed on Saturday 14th May 1983), furthermore Max Demont’s book places the release of this single at the same month and year as the UK version of the single. It is therefore assumed that it was either the 9th or 16th May 1983.

This was the first single from the 1983 Tony Banks solo album The Fugitive, the album was a first for Tony with regard to the fact he did all of the vocal work himself.

Released on Charisma Records (Stereo 812 382-7) Distributed through Phonogram.
