Part of the reissues and remastering campaign of 2016, No Jacket Required has been remastered and includes a second
disc of extra content in the form of live recordings and demo recordings of the material connected to the album.
Sadly only a stereo remaster on this occasion, Phil Collins has kept up his trend of 2015/16 of recreating the album
artwork but with his look today in this case some 30 years later.
The title for the album comes from an incident when Phil Collins was touring with Robert Plant as a drummer in 1983, in Chicago
Phil Collins walked into a restaurant only to be told his leather jacket was not the appropriate dress code for the Pump Room in Chicago.
Another interesting note: This reissue is issued on the Atlantic Records label only, unlike the original which was Virgin in the UK / Europe
and Atlantic / WEA for the rest of the world.
Live Material: Only “Who Said I Would” comes from the tour that supported the album, the rest of the live material comes from subsequent tours
to support other albums.
