Mike and The Mechanics – Living Years tour 1989

Mike and The Mechanics performed a number of gigs across Europe and North America, this tour was in support of the album The Living Years.
Starting in Europe, the band worked through a number of shows. It was clear that they had under estimated the amount of demand in the UK, they added on the later dates in March of 1989. The band could not add more shows, because the Spring tour of North America was due to start in the latter part of March.

The Band would return to America in the Summer of 1989, at one such show they were quite a way down the bill, to the extent that the bill ran like this; “Professional Log Rollers” “Chinese Acrobats” “Mike and the Mechanics”.
