The Live album is meant to be taken from the 5th August 1977 live show at the Hammersmith Odeon as well as a previous show at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club Soho London or at The Marquee in Soho London.

Here is some information about Phil Collins’s appearance at The Hammersmith Odeon 5th August 1977 show from Brand X touring drummer Kenwood Dennard;

Phil joined the band on stage for this show as a 2nd percussionist, playing along w/ Morris. Apparently Phil made his stage entrance somewhat disguised and with a broom, pretending to sweep the floor. He slowly meandered across the stage, without the crowd knowing who it was. The audience was laughing at the sight of this unknown guy sweeping the stage during a concert!.
