24.6.78, Knebworth Park,Stevenage, England Neil Mawer was at this show and he remembers “I was at the Knebworth show in 78. Although not overly familiar with Brand X at the time, and to be honest their intricate music was lost in the vast open space of Knebworth, I do recall that they played very early in the day & that Phil Collins joined them for one or two numbers.
30.7.78, Morris Stage,Morristown NJ,USA John Goodsall is absent for the rest of the 1978 shows (with one or two exceptions), due to Tendonitis “It was an amazing show. Without a guitarist as the others on this tour were. Morris Pert was unreal ! I remember his percussion set-up taking up over half the stage and him running around hitting every drum, cymbal, gadget, whatever like a chicken with his head cut off. Almost forgot there wasn’t a guitar player and I love John Goodsall ! – Rick
