Turn It On Again / Behind The Lines

This was the first single from the long awaited album Duke, Turn It On Again about a person who fantasises about life through their TV screen. The song started life as a guitar song which Mike brought the riff into the writing sessions whilst it was slower than it now sounds… Mike sped it up and it ended up being in 13/8. Phil tried hard to put a more conventional rhythmic beat to the song to underpin it and detract from the obscure time signature.

Turn It On Again became a live favourite and it has been performed on every tour from 1980 until the present day!

Here we have the Dutch pressing with sleeve and the UK pressing without sleeve.
